Glass Straws provide an alternative
that eliminates the need for
straws made from plastic

In a series of British Vogue, actresses get to reveal the contents of their bags. One of them is actress Emma Watson, famous for her roles as Hermione in “Harry Potter” and as Meg March in “Little women”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLJMEs_9ZZE She takes out every item from her big bag, and mentions humorously that friends dubbed her “the bag lady”. A surprising item in her bag is a glass straw and she explains: “Glass straw, better than a metal straw, right?”

And she is undoubtedly right, glass straws offer major advantages. Their transparence and elegance in addition to their being sustainable in comparison to single use plastic straws is incomparable. Another great aspect about them is that you can drink cold and hot drinks with them without staining your teeth. They are easy to clean, by using a natural brush or by putting them in the dishwasher. Plus: Our glass straws are so durable that they can last a lifetime.

I too enjoy drinking my drinks with glass drinking straws, it is a much more luxurious experience to drink from a solid elegant glass straw than a flimsy hormone-emitting plastic straw. And I feel good, knowing that I am sparing the environment at least a bit of pain.
